Welcome to the Puppet Show: A Day at the Circus
2024
Join Clown, Bear and Star, three neurodivergent characters, on their adventure to the circus. There will be big tops, candy floss, and even a musical number, but all is not as it seems in the land of puppets...
Welcome to the Puppet Show: A Day at the Circus was commissioned by Young Film Network South East at Independent Cinema Office, supported by BFI Film Academy with National Lottery funding.
Monsters
2023
Monsters (2023) blends personal essay with unnerving imagery, in the hopes of taking the current narrative surrounding trans and queer people as "monsters", and juxtaposing this with childhood videos, amusement parks, and slugs.
Inspired by the works of Richard Dyer on Queer Theory and vampires such as It's in His Kiss!, Monsters takes these writings around the queer-coding of monsters, alongside the media narrative of trans and queer people, and flips it on its head.
OFFICIALLY SELECTED for ten film festivals, including FilmPride (part of Brighton Pride).
AWARD FINALIST at Lowestoft Film Festival (now Sunrise Film Festival) and San Fransisco Arthouse Festival.
